Colorado SecureSavings

Colorado's state retirement program gives employees without a workplace plan an easy way to save. If you don't offer a retirement plan, you may need to facilitate it.

What is Colorado SecureSavings?

Colorado SecureSavings is a state-run Roth IRA program for private-sector workers whose employer doesn't offer a qualified retirement plan. Covered employers (generally those with five or more employees that have been in business at least two years) must register and facilitate payroll deductions. Employees are enrolled automatically and can opt out, and employers pay no fees and don't contribute.
